Hackney Night Shelter is excited to be taking part in Big Give’s Christmas Challenge from 2nd-9th December. For one week only, every donation you make will be matched £1 for £1, meaning your gift will go twice as far in supporting women facing homelessness this winter as we prepare to open a new women’s shelter in 2026.
With your support, we can provide a safe place to sleep and routes out homelessness for over 100 women.
"It was my lifeline, and I got to get my head together in a safe place" - former guest, a 37-year woman who had been staying in hostels while looking for work after a relationship breakdown and was at risk of sleeping rough when she ran out of money. After staying at Hackney Night Shelter for a few nights she found a job and accommodation.
