Bonjour – Better late than never! Here is a slightly delayed look into our trip to Paris for Premiere Classe in March, where we showed our AW16 collection to press and buyers from around the world. We had a great response to the new bags, clothing and outerwear – which will hit stores in August!
Day one was a surprise in the form of snow and had us hiding away with some nice culinary treats. When it finally calmed down a little, we managed a trip to our usual Paris favourites – Merci, French Trotters and Colette. We stayed a few days in Oberkamf and had a lovely time exploring a new area with local friends. We had steak at Chez Justine and searched the shelves of Petite Fripe for vintage treasures. We also stumbled across a great exhibition featuring artist Nicolas Muller, in charming Galerie Maubert, on a quiet side street.
In addition to welcoming new and existing buyers, we saw plenty of great other brands like Hansel from Basel, Rue Blanche, Veja, Emmanuelle Khan and Rosa Mosaand caught up with all our tradeshow friends. Premiere Classe threw a great closing Party on the Sunday, with a brilliant venue as always – the beautiful L’Opera Garnier Restaurant in The Opera House. Cheesy music and bottomless champagne made the night!
Until next season Paris, Au Revoir!
