We were back in Paris again for Premiere Classe to show our new AW18 collection. The weather was sunny and nice, and we dodged a bullet with the snow back in London.
We had a great time catching up with tradeshow brand friends like Beton Cire, Quinton & Chadwick, Buba and Karen Mabon.
Our AW18 collection got a lot of love this season, and we are very excited to announce some amazing new stockist and of course to show the new line to our lovely customers. Premiere Classe is always a great place to catch up with friends, and meet new people we can work with in the future.
It would not be Paris without visiting our favourite stores, and so off to Merci and Centre Commercial and we go. We love seeing Merci's themed merchandising, and it was once again amazing with a sci-fi plastic bubble dome created in the middle of the room. You can't really go to Paris without a bit of shopping, so we made sure to find some time for some browsing as well.
Paris to us is nearly synonymous with copious amounts of eating, and so a few choice restaurant visits were required. Besides our usual visit to Le Tir Bouchon, we spent an evening at The Hoxton (out of this world mushroom gnocci!) with old friends and found a little gem of classic French bistro near Canal Saint Martin called Le Bourgogne, complete with checked tabled cloth and a charming rustic french menu. We also spent a lovely evening out with Mitz and Kana, who distribute our brand in Japan, at the brilliant Udon restaurant Kunitoraya. We got a lesson in correct slurping technique, and sampled traditional Japanese dishes we've been way too boring to try before.
On our last day, we spent some time focusing on other brands to sit alongside our products in the store - From our recurring classics LF Markey, Bonne Maison and Hansel from Basel, to exciting new addition Mii.
