We once again showed our new collection to buyers at the great Premiere Classe Show in Paris. Paris greeted us with heat and blue skies, and we spent a lovely afternoon wandering around with bare legs and arms soaking up some vitamin C before the weather decided to stick to Autumnal rain.
We had a great time cathcing up with tradeshow brand friends like Beton Cire, Bonne Maison, Hansel From Basel and Naguisa and happily ordered some great pieces for next year in the store. Following on from last seasons great show, it was also lovely to see some favourite stockists again, and to add some new exciting ones for next season. Our womenswear range has grown a lot since it's begnning with our eponimous Batwing Coat, and it was a great to see the new pieces so well received. The full range of SS18 clothes and accessories will be in store and online from February 2018.
In true Parisian spirit, Premiere Classe hosted a great party under La Pont du Alexandre with delicious treats and everflowing cocktails to kickstart the show. We had a sip or two with the lovely ladies of Karen Mabon and Beton Cire's Amelie. Another night was spent in the company of Louise from LF Markey and an amazing meal at the charming establishment that is Robert et Louise.
It is really not Paris without a visit to our favourite Paris restaurant: Le Tir Bouchon, which we have visited so many times now we are greeted with a familiar kiss, though luckily the menu is still theatrically translated to us every time. We also managed to fit in 20 minutes for the speediest eaten Soup d'Oignon on record (always worth a burnt mouth) before running off to catch the Eurostar back to London after a successful trip.
